imagine your future

MONDAY 26TH JULY 2019

Our anthropogenic impact will continue to cause further long-term changes in the climate system. It has become apparent that humans must adapt to the unavoidable consequences of climate breakdown affecting us now and in the future. We have an opportunity now to redefine society’s ideas surrounding beauty, we could call this beauty, ‘beautiful strangeness’. Most importantly, we need a beauty that we can adapt as future circumstances change.

This 2 hour workshop with Mette Harker looked at how we can use imagination to collectively create a future that is made up of everyday people, and discussed the necessary ways we must adapt locally and globally.
